Our Executive Director
Marjorie Roberts ("Marj") was born and raised in upstate New York and
also lived in the mid-Atlantic for twenty years before arriving in Marathon in 2005. Marj has a Bachelors
Degree in Social Work and a Masters Degree in Public Administration. For the past thirty years, she has worked with
disadvantaged groups including children and adults with physical and mental disabilities, hospice, addictions and low
income families.
Marjorie Roberts
Marj lives in the Keys with her husband Kevin and their son Bryce who will attend Miama
International University in the fall. Their daughter Morgan is a student at Florida Central. Their daughter
Cassandra and grandson Oliver live in Philadelphia and their son Zachary lives in New York City. Marj and Kevin
are mentors in the Take Stock in Children Program and are involved in various community groups such as Rotary, Business
and Professional Women, and numerous activities that support the school.
